Show your current clients what they want to see

How do you convey a change in room decor, a new menu, or a fabulous new line-up of shopping to a frequent visitor? Not in an ad, not even a brochure. More important, how do you keep someone who's been there once or twice, coming back? Don't tell them what has changed, show them.

Podcasting is the most versatile and innovative communication method in the world. Simply get the people who love your place to subscribe and you can show them all the upgrades and all the changes. Equally critical, you can show them the things that haven't changed: the shady walk, the crystal clear surf, the candle-lit hot tub. Podcasting is your most compelling vehicle to entice people back.

Generate new business as well

The great thing about a podcast targeted to existing visitors is it forces you to focus on what your customers love and want they want. Which makes it a double-duty bonanza. You can use the same podcasts to generate new business.

Send video podcasts to travel agents, take them to travel conventions, run them on your website. NPS podcasts will show your customers all the reasons to come to your destination. So they will also show your non-customers the reasons they should seek you out as well.

You have two giant markets, personal and corporate travel, and a very limited budget.

"2007 is considered by many the year of the podcast. It is one of the new social media and we have been witnessing how more and more people from around the world are subscribing to podcasts of their choice to have yet another way of finding the best information, which is of interest to them... what we offer (our subscribers) is not just information — it is also music and true Italian atmosphere. And we offer our podcast listeners the opportunity to travel though different parts of Italy even before they actually go there."
